At the Pillar of Fire Church:
we revere and live to serve God, the all-powerful, all-knowing and only God, existing with no beginning or ending, eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. We seek God, and we seek the truth which is validated within God’s authority.
Victory through Jesus Christ
With holy remembrance, we honor and we receive victory from the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who is God in the flesh, and accomplished God’s redemption for mankind. We are healed by His stripes, saved by His grace, and eternally uplifted by His love. We live in anticipation of the return of Jesus Christ, who will rapture God’s church and initiate the eternal reign of God’s kingdom.
The Bible
We believe in the certainty and unrivaled stature of the Bible as God’s written and influenced word. The Bible guides us, challenges us, inspires us, and delivers ancient, contemporary, and future revelation.
The Holy Spirit
We embrace the Holy Spirit, whom God sent to dwell in us. As Christians, we seek and receive the Holy Spirit who serves as a comforter, teacher, power, and witness to truth.
Christian Living
We pursue lives of Christian maturity and kingdom purpose, which comes through our devotion to God, and active reflection of God’s love for humanity. We strive to live lives that reflect God’s holiness, which we regard above contemporary morals and values. Our covenant relationship with God empowers us and is the foundation which helps us to distinguish God’s will and truth from contemporary, political, and individual ideologies.
